Launching in Western Australia in 2020, Containers for Change has recycled over 2 billion 10¢ Containers: with the refunds going straight back to the community. We accept most aluminium glass, plastic, steel, and liquid paperboard containers that are 150mL to 3L Returned containers are then recycled by us so they can live another life as new products.

As well as doing the right thing for the environment, partnering with Containers for Change can be rewarding for your business. With thousands of businesses & workplaces operating across WA — there's a huge opportunity for you to get involved. We also understand that different businesses have different needs, so we have developed 4 kit types to best match your requirements with Containers for Change!

To help your business start its Container for Change journey, we’ve created a commercial toolkit to guide you every step of the way. All commercial toolkits include the following general items, tailored for your business type!

Each of our 4 kits has a different focus or driver, based on your business type as follows:

• Liquor & Retail Stores - For liquor, grocery & convenience stores. Offer your customers a discount on their next purchase.
• HORECA - For hotels, restaurants and cafes. Reward your staff
• Accommodation - For hotels, motels and Air BnBs. Do the right thing for our environment
• Workplace - Staff room, canteen and general offices. Reward your staff

A how-to-guide and set up instructions, with QR Codes to online content. Point of Sale material, such as:

• Internal signage;
• Posters for staff & customers;

How do I get a kit and are they free?

Containers for Change has developed a range of ‘commercial’ kits to enable businesses in WA to activate Containers for Change, easily and efficiently.

All kits include the following items, although the design and messaging on each will vary:

• All kits will be free to order for a limited time and thereafter will be available from our online store for a minimal charge.
• Replacement and additional items can also be sourced from the online store.

We have developed four kit types – HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant/Café), Liquor and Retail, Accommodation and Workplace. Each kit varies in its content and is tailored to the relevant business type.

• A how-to-guide on how the partnership works and set up instructions, including QR codes to all the relevant sign up and website information.
• Ready-to-use point of sale, marketing material, such as posters, tent cards, team trackers, stickers and various retail POS if applicable.
• Simply choose the kit that suits your type of business.

Our research shows that there is a huge opportunity to engage with businesses and their staff across a variety of business types, to get involved with Containers for Change.
